Are you an interactive designer who understands the importance of an outstanding user experience and user interface?   If so, we have a unique opportunity for you.  Intelius is looking for an Interactive Designer with a good understanding of usability to join the Consumer Experience/Creative Services team.  We need a strong visual and conceptual problem solver, who can think strategically while executing with pixel-level detail.

The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of internet technologies, human interaction, user-experience, user-interface, production and e-commerce site design. Responsibilities include conceptualizing, developing, and designing. 

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and oversee through full life-cycle
  
• Produce creative concepts, wireframes for the web sites or other new projects
  
• Design usability tests to improve usability and conversion
  
• Collaborate  with analysts to reflect metric feedback in tests and designs
  
• Conduct usability lab tests or third party multi-variate testing
  
• Design landing Pages and email campaigns
  
• Communicate design strategy and rationale to key stakeholders
  
• Ensure the brand site standards are consistently met
  
• Conduct brainstorming meetings to generate new ideation
  
• Document and archive results and assets
  
• Work with teams to design and create design and testing solutions
  
• Provide assets and guidance to business partners ensuring brand integrity

Qualifications

• 5+ years online interaction design experience, preferably with experience working for/with an E-commerce or lead generation web site
  
• Expert knowledge of online design/usability principles, Photoshop, Fireworks, comfortable in both MAC and PC platforms
  
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred
  
• Organized and able to act independently
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Candidates must present a portfolio with links to original graphics and/or Web sites
